I took a break from leveling to do some older content for FC mates trying to catch up.

That or theres something about the parsers that parse MCHs 50-80dps less than everyone else.

And you know, I dont really have the slightest clue as to why their damage is so low.

So-so GCD skills that proc into each other, skills that that increases GCD damageguarantees procs every so often, plethora of oGCD skills to make up for their lackluster main damage, and the best damage buffs in the game.

Add on pretty dope turrets that do as much damage as shitty summonerscholars who only use ruin, and the entire class should be golden.

But its not. And in practice, this is a pretty damned difficult class to play optimally.

But the effort:reward ratio is pathetic; the best you can muster openingconstant as hell rotationupkeep only equates to a marginal increase in deeps.

I dont have the slightest clue on how to fix the class either other than give everything a potency boost either.

Increase Gauss Barrels buff by 5-10 Make Clear Shot do 220 instead of 200 Make Slug Shot have a 60-70 proc rate No goddamned idea.

This might be the missing dps of Machinist, but still too early to tell for now.

I went from 2 DPS to 33 on my AST from the latest update, so this is very likely still.

Also I have heard parsers cannot track Wildfire, which is a pretty big part of our damage I think, especially if the player understands how to make the most of it.

I think that some of our cooldowns need to be reduced slightly, especially reload and quick reload.

Level 52. Parsed myself on a dummy last night after yesterdays ACT patch.

I can do about 380(that includes the turret) with Gauss equipped.

I then took the barrel off, and parsed at 410 and 415 after 3 minutes.

My initial thought was that the 20 boost is not enough to make up for auto attacks, but my auto attacks only accounted for 40 dps out of my total, so that ends up being about 10.so youd think losing auto attacks for 20 dmg boost would balance out.

I think its the casting time of the gauss attachment killing oGCD weaving and overall skill usage, and its hurting the class ontop of the already finnicky RNG on procs when you are sitting there for 30 seconds with no procs waiting for reload.

Though, I would bet more that people dont quite understand how to play MCH the best way yet, while people have plenty of practice as BRD.
